MIDA and Green Tech (MGTC) Executive officer/director will be present as guest of honor speakers to provide the newest information regarding the tax incentives and funding to help companies execute the green strategy as well as providing advice haw to materialize the opportunities available. This would greatly benefit to the companies both the domestic or foreign investors in Malaysia who are taking “GREEN” as the strategic importance in carrying out the sustainable business development.
The superiority of the various speaker presentations were recognized by Suruhanjaya Tenaga (ST), Construction Industry Development Board (CIDB) and the Institution of Engineers, Malaysia (IEM) and participating guests as appropriate, receive four (4) CDP (ST), ten (10) CCD (CIDB) or five (5) CPD (IEM) credit points.
The seminar is organized by HRDF registered companies such that the transportation to/from Ipoh and accommodation in Ipoh can be redeemed partly or all from HRDF for the participant employeed with companies registered under HRDF scheme.
Furthermore, in this green initiative seminar, we focus on energy measurement and verification (EMV) technology in order to quantify the outputs and benefits of the treasures identified as the result of green initiative drive and various available technologies. We therefore made the subtitle "The 50001 Treasure Hunt" and EMV.
The seminar was originally planned by our Energy Monitoring Solution partmenr in Malaysia NIPCO becoming a Malaysia's first distributor of world foremost leading EMV hardware/software solution provider Energy Team S.p.A. and to introduce the innovative and practical solutions in the seminar.

After the successful outcome the first workshop held in September, the particiants and the organiser had a serious discussion of how to capture the opportunity from the lessons learned from the workshop, and how to disseminate the superiority of ISO Class EnMS operation to promote the sustainability business development amongst the industries in Malaysia. The conclusion from the discussion was to initiate the formation of "Energy User League of ISO 50001 Self-Declaration Malaysia" (tentative Name) by workshop participating organisations taking the initiative.
